Great Social Studies Exit Projects

New pedagogical trends encourage students to be proactive, developing and carrying out projects for in-depth curricular topics in great detail. Many states require ""exit projects,"" to demonstrate mastery over a curricular subject before completing middle school. This series meets that demand, offering examples of engaging, investigative projects closely aligned to state middle school social studies standards. Project examples explore critical periods of U.S. history, teaching readers how to develop an independent project to explore key questions related to their favourite unit.
